Some photos from our week in ME and NH....

The spectacular Maine coast as seen from Otter Cliffs Trail in ANP:

Thunder Hole. I climbed up on the rocks on the right and got drenched when a big, rogue wave smashed into the hole!

Had to stop at Bean's:

We took the Snow Coach up to about 4250' on Mt. Washington in NH. As is normally the case in winter time, the visibility was poor. We were lucky with the weather though... it was calm and fairly warm. During the previous night, the winds hit 95MPH. (It has blown as fast as 231MPH at the summit.)

We snowshoed a short way into Lincoln Woods from the Blackberry Crossing trailhead outside of Conway Village, and hung out for the night.

It was a fun week and we didn't want to come home!

Take it easy,
