I think they are both great products. but the yeti is a good bit shorter than a 3/4. it might be around a 2/3 . I think hammock gear is aweasome. and heres another option for you http://wildernesslogics.com/Under-Qu...Quilt-Down.htm
Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Both are fine quilts. You won't be disappointed with either of them.
The big differences for me
Yeti - 850 fp down (won't compress as much as Phoenix's 900 fp down).
Yeti - shorter and more narrow than Phoenix
Phoenix - no draft guard at ends (Yeti has a real nice down tube sewn perpendicular to the baffles that blocks wind entering the ends - not necessary, but a nice feature).
Once again, either will keep you toasty and both have excellent craftsmanship.
Well if you want 3/4 I'd go with a phoenix cause the yeti is only a 2/3 (I think but its smaller none the less). Besides length, what specifics are you looking for in a quilt. Both are excellent quilts with minor differences. I personally favor Hammock gear quilts cause that's just what I use and like but many here love and use the yeti just as much. Are you looking at car camping, back packing, do you want a longer Phoenix or a shorter yeti. Do you like the cinch ends like on a phoenix or a draft collar like on the yeti. I personally like the Phoenix cause it's a bit longer and wider then the yeti.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
I have had both on my WBBB dbl 1.7 and both have advantages. The Yetti is essentially a custom fit to the BB, no fiddle factor with it. As mentioned in the above posts, you get a little more coverage with the Crowsnest. Once you have the Crowsnest dialed in they way you like it, set it and leave it. I did end up selling my Crowsnest only to buy a full length Winter Incubator. I find that I can use the Winter Incubator 6 months out of the year and then use the Yetti the other 6 months. I really like the combination that I have right now, both are outstanding products.
I will say that I went on the 2010 Mt Rogers hang and used only my 2/3 3-season Yetti (w/ the snap in reflective liner) in single digit temps with 18" of snow. I did use a CCF pad under the area not covered by the Yetti and I slept warm. Wore lots of clothes which probably helped but never got cold.

Thanks for the help everyone.
Either one is fine. The only difference is you will need a longer pad for your feet with the yeti.
