Gorge Rat Fall Infestation (Oct 27-31, 2010)

This is the new updated 2010 Gorge Rat Infestation Hang string!

The hang is scheduled for Oct 27th to Oct 31st.

We plan to do a base camp near the Lettered Rock Trail just east of Hawksbill Trail Head. The idea is to do a group hang but break into smaller groups for day hikes or over nighters in the Big Ditch. We'll plan that out in detail the first night in camp. So don't worry about that ... we'll have data, maps and sheets to hand out for specific areas. We'll also implement a registry to make sure we all are accounted for and no one gets left in the BIG DITCH! It's a wonderful place but it is rugged and unforgiving.

Directions to the area will be provided the first of October on this string. We'll organize parking and any shuttle services to move cars to pick up points for group hikes.

To keep things simpler to follow ... to keep within the new guidelines of the forum ... we're going to start this string clean and fresh.
