On the hike in, I was minding my own business, walking along bank of Dutchman’s Creek, so I wouldn’t have to cross Dutchman’s Creek twice in a row. Then I slipped on rocks covered with leaves. I fell backwards right onto my back and backpack, fortunately my carcass was unbroken and I didn’t land in creek. Hahahaha LOL
On way out, I bushwhacked higher up the bank, through the woods, to avoid the creek bank that I was sure was waiting for me.
Had a great time, our group of nine hammock campers kept conversation going.
PappyAmos taught me more technique for backflushing Sawyer water filter. For that reason, my water filter did not get clogged or even slow down for three days.
Special thanks to Rat Mama and Icemam for trekking to hand deliver pizza and beverages directly to our campsite. I made jokes about not having cash money to pay my fair share:
“We millionaires seldom carry cash”
And
“I left my wallet in my other pants”
