Yeah, “flippers” would probably be a better description. I was able to larks head both dog bones in the center (larger) hole. I put a smaller continuous loop in the other and attach it to a carabiner/daisy chain.

In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.
I am currently experimenting with the turtle ties. So far, my favorite hardware solution by a wide margin. I also like the becket hitch and find that the turtle provides a nice becket release pull handle.
They are extremely small if you haven’t seen them.
Anyhow, not sure if they are going to replace the becket for me, but I do like how well they work and the minimal weight of using amsteel for the suspension.
I say, experiment to find ways to make your suspension work best for you. Playing or tinkering with suspension is good for learning new ideas.
I’m in the hardware free camp, and through play I’ve developed a suspension that is no hardware and no knots! This would have been impossible without some play. My new suspension is jam-proof and slip-proof
Play away-no lollygagging!
1) I like the cute aspect
2) It’s the trapezoidal connecting hardware that WarBonnet used is not available for DIY. The RSBTR DIY bridge kit does not include connecting hardware for the ends of the dogbanes.
2a) For example, it’s easy to use a small loop to connect the trutle flippers to a Dutch Beetle Buckle.
3) Just me, but from rock climbing days, I don’t like to connect line to line; I prefer some interface - the turtle, a ring, etc.

Even easier to hook the dogbones onto the Beetle Buckle hooks!
With you daisy chain setup you achieved that by putting the dogbones on the biner.
It seems to me that the whole idea of using TTs is to make use of either a single piece of Amsteel or a Whoopie Sling as the means of adjusting the suspension, i.e. not adjustable straps.
BTW, I agree completely about avoiding line to line connections.
