My first backpacking trip in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park was epic.In perfect weather, we hiked 31 miles over four days and camped three nights. We started at Smokemont Campground and passed through Newton Bald, Martins Gaps, Deep Creek, Noland Creek, Forney Ridge, and Andrews Bald. We finished at the amazing Clingman's Dome. It was a great hike with plenty of great views and water crossings. Total elevation gain was 11,437 feet and loss of 7,609 feet.

A brief visit for a new camera from Dan Becker in Wisconsin and then Miyagi and I drove 10.5 hours to Tennessee. We joined six other hikers that included fellow youtubers Jeremiah Stringer, Backpacking with Jason, Hunter's Trip, Smokey Bee's Natural, and Bluegrass Backcountry & Music.
