I am trying to get caught up on a few hammock DIY ideas. I tried this out last year and it worked pretty well to stay warmer. This is basically two pouches to hold chemical hand warmers like Hot Hands that can be attached to the bottom of a hammock. So the order of materials I used were outside to inside= silnylon, climateshield (left rough cut to create a better seal), reflectix, 2layers of mesh (to seperate the hot hands from the reflectix), then would be the hots heater, then another layer of mesh, and this would go up against either my UQ or my hammock. Then I attached webbing on the corners to try to stop any twist, but they come together and the whole thing only has 2 connection points and I can position it anywhere under my hammock. Cost about $2 a night for 4 hot hands in total, but I think it is always nice to lay on a heated bed!
