can someone give me a sewing pattern for a DIY UC Protector?
Or let me know where to find some?

After watching the Jellyfish video I'll link below, I just made mine without a pattern: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdZIMKE7E2w&t=30s
Since you're essentially making a small hammock that hangs under your hammock, just make a rectangular piece of fabric with hemmed sides and ends that can be cinched with shock cord. Mine is longer than necessary but works fine to seal up around my underquilts, either full length or 3/4 length UQ. Per the Jellyfish video I have knotty mods in the middle of both sides. I believe mine weighs about 7 ounces, which is heavier than it really needs to be. You can make it lighter by using better fabric than I used and smaller diameter shock cord and also by not making it as long as I made mine, which is about 9 feet long.
"...the height of hammock snobbery!"
Was trying to figure out what a UC was? I'm assuming you meant an UQ (under quilt)?
