I'm interested in backpacking with a hammock. That said, weight is always a concern. Suffice to say, I'm not a hug fan of the idea of bridge hammocks.

I'm a side sleeper. Don't get me wrong, I can back sleep. However it's very rare for me to back sleep at home. What I never do is stomach sleep. Anyways I turn once in a while, but still favor one side for most of the night. Like I might fall asleep at 8a, then wake up at 4-5a and flip for 40mins, then go back to original position. I'm not partial to sleeping on a particular side either. I sleep with my back toward the inside of my matress, face toward edge. Weather this is my right or left side is irrelevant. If I had to choose, I'd say that I prefer laying on my right more than my left.

I like the idea of a chameleon because the lay direction is interchangeable(and more).

Does anyone else side sleep in a chameleon?

Is a symetrical hammock better since I do turn at times?

Does anyone only back sleep in a hammock but not so much at home?

Should I rethink bridge hammocks?

Should I consider a wide size?

Is another GE hammock more suitable for me?

Am I missing something?

Am I thinking about this wrong?
