That looks great. Good job.
Stitches look straight and well placed. What size is the hardware? are they all 1/2" Beastie's?
If you pitched a little wider given the amount of overlap you have on the doors.. you would give yourself a little more walking room.
The reinforcement patches on the panel pulls look like they can do with some refinement. Are the 2.92 DCF Hybrid (a lot thicker than the tarp fabric)? They'll do the job just fine. Corner reinforcements the same material?
The shock cords on the doors have no adjustments, right? Just the mitten hooks?
Good luck with it.. looks nice a really nice piece of kit!!
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

I definitely could have pitched it wider and had I been hanging under it at the time, I would have. I was really just hanging it for a good first look and to get some pictures up for those interested.
I was very pleased with the stitching, no loose or hanging threads and very even and straight throughout. The D-rings were all sized as specified on the website. As far as the material used for the reinforcements, it is the same on all pullout and attachment points but to be honest I am not familiar enough with it to say definitively what was used. It is definitely thicker than the tarp body material. I have reached out to them for the specs on it and will pass it along if I hear back.
Weight rigged up minus stakes and guy lines (12.4oz).

Chris responded regarding the tie out point reinforcements:
“ The tie-out are bonded 2.92 Oz black Dyneema with Mil-Spec webbing to the Beastie-D rings.”

Ordered 01/18/2020, arrived today 01/29/2020. Green DCF with doors, as it was packed without any lines, 9.1oz on my scale. The large fanny pack also looks extremely well built! Hope to get the tarp hung up this weekend.

I'm not sure....you can email them here at [email protected].
I did get an email on the 26th saying "that they only have 8 more hammock tarps left and this well be it for our hammock tarps until this summer."

Mine came today as well. Very happy with how light and small this thing is. Can’t wait until some nice weather to get it out!
