I'm still new enough to things that I don't know if this is worth considering but it crossed my mind about a week ago and figured I'd see if anyone had reason to experiment with this or at least discuss pros & cons... Heck, I wasn't even sure if it should go under a specific forum but decided to leave it in General (moderators - feel free to move)...

Would there be a reason to consider an UQP/Fronkey style bug net hybrid - essentially a bugnet top half and UQP bottom half?

From looking at various pictures of the 2 separately, I know an UQP typically snugs right up to an UQ and the FBN (Fronkey bugnet - is this an 'official' abbreviation?) hangs loose under. Would there be a problem if the UQP hung a little lower/looser?

2 potential issues I wasn't sure on:
1) entry (by a hammocker) could be a little tricky (i.e. how to setup the entry interface - the hanging bugnet with the side zipper entry might work better?)
2) would one even want a setup like this as if it's windy/cool enough for an UQP, the bugs wouldn't really be out, and potentially the same for (heavy) rain conditions. I have noted that when one tries to combine 2 things into a new item, the new item doesn't quite equal the sum of the original parts!

I'm more 3 season and during this first year, I've used the net on my BBXLC even it wasn't buggy. Might have had it flipped over to one side on one of my hangs. Having never seen or used either one of the items mentioned above, I'm obviously at a disadvantage. An UQP is on my wish list but not necessarily a high priority right now.

Feel free to tell me I'm way off the mark on this - just looking for a little discussion! Thanks all!
