There is nothing new about Marlinspike Hitch and toggles but maybe this way?
I haven’t looked so maybe it has been done before.
There are different solutions to keep track of the toggles, strings, pockets and what not but why not build them in to the tree straps?
My tree huggers has loops in both ends because it’s nice to have. With this idea you can use the straps any way you want loop and all and the toggles will rarely get in your way and they will never get lost.
This is how I did it.
Fold some fabric over the webbing and sew close to the edge on both sides.

Pull the end all the way through the two layers of fabric.

Sew one end shut, put in the toggles and sew the other end shut. Cut any extra fabric and seal the ends with a flame.

BTW my straps are made from 1” webbing and the aluminum tube I used is 8mm (5/16”) in diameter and about 2 ½” long. If you want to use a bigger diameter tube you may have to make a fold in the fabric to make room inside. (Test before sewing!)

You could do it with webbing if you are making new straps and the inverting part is not a must just the way I did it.
