What...The 2nd Annual 2016 Frosty Butt Hang at Merchants Mill Pond State Park North Carolina
Where..Group Site # 1 at Merchants Mill Pond State Park North Carolina
When.... 18 Feb ( Thursday noon ) thru 21 Feb ( Sunday noon ) 2016
Goal...to hang in some cold weather and test our hammock gear.
Meals...Meals will be individual and or a group effort as Hotlips and Kingsford to not play in the cold.
I can bring a gas and propane coleman 2 burner stove to share.
As we hope it gets cold, be sure to bring hammock gear and clothing for the cold ( and maybe snow ? )
If you need to borrow some gear, let us know as many us have extra gear we can share.
If you want you can bring a tent instead of a hammock.
If this is your first cold weather hang, please let us know so a more experienced hanger can check your set up. We want you to be comfortable and have a good time and not freeze to death.
we will need firewood so anyone with source of wood, please bring some. Efforts to purchase fire wood locally have not been successful.
