@NMardin - It certainly is a great way to get your moneys worth out of your equipment! Of course, the real reason is to test how your rig works in all types of weather!
Got #78 under my belt with a midweek trip with Revsbentley. Temps just above freezing with gusts up to 15mph or so. it was a fun night. Stayed toasty, but lots of wildlife and barnyard sounds throughout the night... Where did this idea that roosters crow at dawn come from. That SOB crowed all freakin' night!

Got a chance to checkout the Rev's new Amur setup. Pretty sweet.

Wood for a fire was problematic. Almost everything was buried and frozen in the snow. We finally got a decent one going... which was great, 'cause I needed to dry out my socks!

Just saw this! Unfortunately I broke my string (maybe 30 months, should have kept track) in December because of a shoulder replacement. Weak excuse, I know. Starting up again camping in woods North of Spokane in January and in the Eastern Wa. desert in February.
Props on 77 months! Super impressive!
March was a tough month around here, but I snuck out to Mohican for a quick overnight. The card in my phone died, so no pics. Since I subscribe to "no pics, didn't happen", I did a yard hang. Turned out to be an interesting night... light rain and gusts hitting 55mph! Just to be safe, I restaked the tarp a couple times, but outside of being a bit scary at times, good fun!

I jumped on this challenge and completed it when it was first posted but I haven't been as strict and certainly haven't been posting since I completed it. Thanks @Hobopelican for keeping with it all these years. I do enjoy seeing your posts every month, even if I'm not interacting on here.
I still do a difficult weather condition hang from time to time to test my gear and this thread got me started with that, but I don't get a hang in every month anymore. Here's one from March this year. Easy conditions with tennis in the mid forties and only a slight wind at around 10mph. I did one in February at 12°. It's nice to know you can trust your gear!

@jamaulwall - Where was that location? Gorgeous! I get an occasional hang in Northern Arizona and I love the open horizons there...
Of course, it CAN be a little tough to find trees .
Looks like I've been messing up my signature the last few months...should be fixed now. Got a couple of hangs in April for number 80.
(Okay, looks like I have a problem here. It seems to update, but then it reverts to the old sig. )
While I tried 2 hangs this month, only one lasted the whole night. Great temps, winds and a solid rain shower. I always sorta hate deploying the tarp, but I do enjoy hanging in the rain!

My other hang? I tried setting up at a resort I was staying at on Sanibel Island.... That didn't go so well. I got rousted by the staff before midnight.

That hang was in the West desert area of Utah near Dugway.

I always like going SOBO; somehow, it feels like going downhill.
...and as it harm none, do what ye will.
I got #81 in on the 30th of May. Another yard hang, but I was hoping to catch some meteors. Laid awake most of the night and didn't see one. Oh well. Temps were in that sweet spot, no underquilt, a Costco TQ and Picaridin and Permethrin kept the critters away!

My second for the month of June. With cost of gas and motels going up I’m trying to save a little by staying in state or Govt. parks on my Moeb days. First night was in Woodworth, Louisiana at Indian Creek Rec area and last night was here in COE park at iron mountain on Degray lake in Arkansas.
