    Underquilt musings...

I'm thinking about getting a new under quilt. I am looking for the lightest weight possible 20° UQ.
So far I'm considering something like the HG Phoenix 20° with a .5oz Cuben Outer and Argon 67 Inner, kind of like the ZPacks quilt.
I already have a HG UQ and I absolutely love it, but it just doesn't have the low end temp that I'm looking for.

My thought is that the Cuben Outer would obviate the need for a UQ Protector while the Argon would allow any moisture that did manage to get into the down to dry. I know that HG made UQ's with Cuben in the past, but I believe that they used a Cuben Inner and Silnylon Outer.

So what does Hammock Forums think?

Thanks in advance for your advice, input, rants, etc.

A hanging, though, was something different. I got to thinking. We hadn’t never been to nothing just to have a good time. A hanging was special and we was all getting to go.
