You can get cheaper and stronger.
I've recently done a group buy of these krabs (got a few left, if anyone is interested... UK only sorry);
The Edelrid Ninteen G is the lightest full strength (>2000kg) (4409lb) carabiner out there.
I know they are OTT for most applications, but at only 19 grams, they are in the same ballpark as non-climbing krabs with much lower strengths.
at £6.83 a piece.

The Edelrid Micro 3 is rated to 400kg (882lb) and only weighs 10g, and good value at £2.95 a pop.
Or if you want a bit higher rating, you could have the Edelrid Aranya for £2.95 too, 12g, Break load:650kg (1433lb), Length: 73mm
Finally, a good guy/tarp option might be these babies, Edelrid Micro 0 for £2.45, 3.5g, 40mm long, Break Load: 100kg (220lb)
I realize this thread started four years ago, so maybe things have changed, but the carabiners on my ENO DN weigh 18g each which seems pretty reasonable compared to other alternatives. Nevertheless, I replaced them with color-coded soft shackles for weight and fun.

Any news on more lightweight carabiners???
DW - I just discovered soft shackles! ><><>
