Awesome, thanks! I've passed it along to my ground welling buddies. Looks like a solid piece of gear for a great price.
ordered a couple for the grandkids...cub scout camping trips coming up in October!
I am going to jump in on this great deal, I may even buy two or three. "Buy" I mean "pay for shipping"!

I received the pads I ordered and they seem fine...the grandkids used them in the hammocks last night (down in the 50s out) and they slept toasty warm with just the pad and the 40 degree sleeping bag opened like a blanket...no complaints!
Wow,
Great find!
Thanks,
Chris
So how much of it is open cell and how much closed cell? Open won't do much for warmth. Still a bargain. Thanks for posting.Closed Cell Foam on bottom to prevent wicking.
-Textured Open Cell top surface is soft and prevents sleeping bag movement on higher friction top soft surface.
Open cell foam will absorb water while closed cell will not
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
If the top is OCF it's not much. The textured surface on mine is so thin so it can't absorb much.
