I've used an old (heavy, synthetic) sleeping bag up until now but enough is enough!
I'm looking at purchasing my first down TQ and could do with the opinion of some of you guys with more experience.
I'm considering a cottage industry TQ I saw on eBay:
72" x 54" (seems about right as I'm 5'10'' and will use it on the ground a couple of times).
Contains 450g (about a pound) of 860 goose down. Sewn thru sectors.
Snap Footbox (quilt opens up flat).
Weight = 730 grams / 1.6lb
Price £250 (or $322)
Three questions - does that seem a little expensive to you? Is the weight OK for lightweight backpacking? Vendor reckons it'll be good down to around -3ºC (27ºF).
Thanks in advance 👍
