Thats some good news I can get behind. Looking forward to making the trip down on Thursday. Even invited someone to try hammock camping for the first time. Not having it pouring down rain seems to exponentially increase a persons want to go hammock camping again in my experience. See you all in a few days.

Even though 32* is not as cold as temperatures in the teens, single digits, and negative numbers…
As the temperature drops with our first fall weather of the year, most of us are not yet acclimated to cooler weather
First some Phantom lies on how to battle the cold
Thermogenesis, it’s a real thing, eating hot peppers to increase body heat…but it will only take you so far, not very far at all
Self hypnosis, control of breathing, control of mind, and the ultimate Wim Hof method.
He can sit on a slab of ice while wearing very little clothing and not be frozen to death
Hey, it works for him
Somehow I doubt it will work for vast majority of us
Tips on staying warm that actually work
Wear an insulated hat
Wear Loose insulated boots, with Loose wool socks
Wear insulated long underwear under other layers
Get out of that camp chair and walk around, or at least remain standing, most of time…this will burn calories and some use of muscles will result in increased body temperature
When you do sit in camp chair, it helps to have chair insulated with a closed cell foam pad
Eat good, with a good mix of fat, carbohydrates, and protein
Drink warm drinks
Warm up near campfire
