“Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.” John Muir
The first time I tried to retire back in 1996, the wife said I was underfoot too much and I had to go back to work.I just decided to stop working and go camping more.
Then about 3 years ago she told me I had to retire so I could go camping more. We moved to the NC mountains and I went hanging more. Then the wife complained I was camping too much. I told her I was being a good husband and doing what she told me to do by going hanging more
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
Here we are thinking "let's move to Maine.. moah hammocking!!".. NOPE. Haven't hung since last April!
But we do love Maine and have celebrated our first year living here!!
We are looking forward to joining y'all this year if no crazy family stuff comes up!!
