Mr. Baggins. I do not think these fine members here think that being a noob is excuse enough for not showing up.
How is Shooter?

I collect vintage camp stoves.
I roast coffee at home.
Neilbo Baggins, Steel Player also a musician came to Medoc this past weekend. Y’all might know of each other or have mutual friends. If you get a chance, come to Yates for as long or short as you want. Steel Players coffee caused me to tell lies and argue, my limit was one mug of rich coffee brew...
I plan on arriving before lunch on Thursday.

Shooter was sick all last week. Gorge weather didn't help.
I went home Tuesday, and have been sick all week.
I am still sick enough that I do not want to 'contaminate' anyone else.
Cough, runny nose, aches, pains, etc. And that was staying inside with a wood stove going.

And, PG, come on. It did not take the coffee for you to do all those things.

Snwcmpr, you’re right, hope you get feeling better. Some of these colds make you feel real bad for a week-and then weakened during an extended recovery. Steel Player can tell stories that entertain all around campfire.
Gunner and Terminator are doubtful for Yates—
They worked hard hosting Medoc and did an outstanding job. Thinking they will be too tired to go to Yates.
Indeed! Even though it was a bit swampy when we arrived we managed to get a good heat going on it. Someone's definitely invested half a rock wall into that one.
Ha! Sorry I meant to say, "As a noob I'd love to meet everyone and scope out some gear but I have a feeling being gone two weekends in a row I might come home to my luggage and guitar on the front porch."
Definitely down to meet fellow string wagglers especially if they're carrying a sling on their back. I'm on the lookout for a backpacker for the lollygagging.
I think I shall never see a billboard as lovely as a tree.
Perhaps, unless the billboards fall, I'll never see a tree at all. -- Ogden Nash
