The wifey wants to share a hammock... so I just ordered a new Vertex. I'll probably order the insulation later when the temps start to go back to freezing...

Congrats! My wife and I have had one for just a few months now ourselves, only camped in it twice. There's a bit of a learning curve. I changed out the Clark suspension with Amsteel loops, carabiners, and Atlas Straps. Made it much faster/easier to setup. We also got the Zliners and one one of our nights the temp was about 40 ... we were plenty warm. I think we could take the Zliners down to freezing and will give that a test this coming winter. Did you get the Vertex tarp also? Here's our set up:

Just keep in mind that the 'liners take you to freezing' is intended with a really good high-quality low-temp rated sleeping bag to go with 'em. That's one of the little learning curves i had with mine.
Last night it got down to mid-40's and with the liner on I used my WM Alpinelite (true 20degree down sleeping bag) as a comfortor/blanket. Nothing but boxers on and frankly I was sweating a bit. Mid-30's was last week and that one you toss on a base-layer and curl up with the sleeping bag vented.
Welcome to the Vertex Club. It's not cheap by any means but it IS awesome!
