How does payment work for a Dream Hammock? Is 100% paid up front? Or is a percentage paid up front as a deposit with the remainder paid before shipping? I don't see any payment FAQs on their home page.

As with all of the cottage vendors that I know of, it is 100% payment up front. Don't worry, the DreamHammock crew is completely trustworthy and their hammocks are well worth every penny ;-)
With that being said, PayPal doesn't have a payment setup that I "believe" they still run...
Here is a little info from Papa Smurf from Dream Hammock himself....a little bit of an older thread, but I'm sure they'll chime in if needed.

Understood. It isn't a lack of trust with the vendor. But given the waiting time, I'd like to get it in the queue right away but can't budget the full amount immediately. Half would be doable with the other half due before shipping.
Howdy Bradymsu616,
As Eidson said, you pay for 100% of your order up front. Dream Hammock accepts payment by PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. As mentioned in that other thread, if you have PayPal account you may be eligible for PayPal Credit which allows you to make payment using PayPal Credit (like a credit card) and make payments up to 6 months with no interest on purchases over $99.00. That is a PayPal feature and not specific to Dream Hammock. In case you were also wondering about shipping, they ship USPS First Class or Priority Mail. I have ordered a couple of things from Dream Hammock and every time it's been an extremely positive experience.

Thanks all. PayPal credit easily solved the issue for me. No interest on any charge over $99 if paid within six months. I'll have it paid off before it even ships. Now to make some final decisions on my Sparrow!
Glad to hear that it worked out for you and congrats on the purchase! You'll be very pleased when you get your hands on it. Be sure to share pics.
Although it seems you got everything figured out, this should have been DOES and not doesn't... Hopefully that didn't confuse you
I'm now Order# 4355. I ended up going with the extra weight of a double layer rather than a single layer for multiple reasons. 11' Sparrow. Dark olive outside and cover. Royal blue inside. Orange accents.

I liked the color combination I saw in 4067 but prefer the Dark Olive over the lighter Olive Drab. I added orange accents on the UQ hooks, tie out hooks, and zipper pulls.
