So I've got my Incubator/Burrow 20 combo now (with 2/1oz of overfill respectively), and in my perpetual quest to lighten my base pack weight I'm looking for a couple of very lightweight dry bags to use as stuff sacks so I can leave my 7oz pack rain cover at home (and eliminate the hassle of pulling it out and covering the pack when the rain starts). I'd like to tap the knowledge and experience of the HF community to pick the right ones....
Is anyone using a Cuben fiber (or other ultralight) roll top dry bag for their quilt? If so, what do you use, what size did you get, and do you like it?
I've looked at offerings from Zpacks (http://zpacks.com/accessories/dry_bags.shtml) and Granite Gear (http://www.granitegear.com/outdoor/p...t-drysack.html). The Zpacks options are cheaper, but the GG are lighter. Has anyone tried either of these? If so, which size do you use?
My gear philosophy is "buy the right gear once" - even if it's more expensive, it's cheaper than replacing the wrong gear in the long run...
