    Underquilt protector

I'm going to the Smokies over the weekend for three nights and its a good chance that its gonna rain. Should I have an underquilt for
    rainy conditions?
    Thanks

That's what a tarp is for If it's gonna be really windy and you don't have a tarp with decent coverage then it may be worthwhile.

    Are you using down quilts?
There is a rule I have followed for the last 30 years of camping that has kept me warm and dry.
"Keep your down dry at all cost."
The smaller your tarp the more you need a UQP.

Good insurance, but I usually leave mine at home. This past weekend it rained pretty much 3 days straight...the first night was easily over an inch while I slept. But not much wind so it wasn't a problem with a tarp & doors.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a relatively inexpensive but good quality UQP?

Your gonna get about 20 replies of 2QZQ for an UQP.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
