I love it!!! Please keep sharing your projects with us. Like how you have taken hammocking and climbing and combined the two. Extreme-Hammocking.

Hahahahaha! The fact that I had to re-read your post three times before I finally got it made me laugh even harder. NICE ONE!

Well done! I love the space that thing allows for. I just took my wife ziplining for the first time and I think she might want to do more like that. Tree climbing might be a way to show her the sights...

You should definitely give it a shot! My wife enjoys rock climbing but anything beyond 60 feet terrifies her senseless. When I took her tree climbing for the first time she was asking me if she could climb to all of these crazy exposed branches so my anecdotal evidence proves that tree climbing is a great way to introduce beginners to new heights.

You need a FireInMyBones style integrated underquilt built into the bed of your ledge for winter.

So there I was googling for DIY Portaledge ideas when up popped HammockForums. I should have known if it could be made at home someone here would have figure it out already...

This thing looks great and when I get my sewing skills dialed in I plan on making one for future big wall attempts.
