    Glammocking

These days I hear a lot about glamping.

glamping - a fusion of glamour and camping

I figured why should we be left out so.....

You need to camp with Timberrr and I again sometime!

We often take folks back into the woods that have not been out in 30+ years. Part of the success is tied to the incredible comfort and spoiling provided. Next weekend we have a someone coming camping who has never camped and I think she's knocking on 60. That said, glammocking is best suited for car or base camp type camping.

I imagine lots of Dutchware would need to be involved, maybe even polished or gold plated?

Does this mean that I have to start hiking in my tuxedo?

Every time I read/hear glamping, I have the urge to vomit, and punch someone in the face.

"Glammocking" ---- making and drinking your coffee from a "blinged-out" hammock in the woods. is it a noun or a verb ???? maybe both.

I guess I'm guilty of glamping or glammocking. I enjoy good food and drink - if I can do a gear stash or slackpack, I certainly will. Dehydrated food is a necessary evil to me, and I'll take any opportunity to enjoy fresh food.

I was watching videos of the hoosier hang and noticed Trail Medic has party lights (at least, I think it was Trail Medic) on his setup. I think that might qualify as a glammock? I'm going to have to get some of those now, because I know my daughter would totally love those.

I'm half tempt to build something out in the style of a 70's low rider. with the fuzzy interiors, mirrors, disco balls, etc...
