    I hope you do a review. I've been considering a DIY version with the pipe Thumbs used or 1" - 2" rigid aluminum conduit that has flat bottoms rather than the curve.

    Great post; I appreciate it. I hope any future designs can be linked here. I have bookmarked this page. It's pretty easier to compare the different designs this way.

    Interesting! It should get here before the weekend when I plan on using it while on a car camping trip in VT. I will post pics and impressions next week of the Boonedox Drifter.

    Canopy fittings - useful hardware for a variety of frames

    Using "High Pitch Peak Center with Centerpole" fitting for 60 degree spread

    I've got a notion for fitting out a camper / utility van with an interior frame for hanging one or two hammocks. Basically a flat roof canopy with posts in 4 corners using foot fittings to secure to floor. "Open tee" fittings on the cross bars so the hammock(s) and compression pole(s) can slide off to the side. Bungies might be needed for rattle control.
