In the interest is transparency.... and to prevent having to type this over and over....
My MIL has just started radiation treatment for Sarcoma that has manifested in her right thigh and wrapped itself around her cyatic nerve. Last time it was measured it was 31cm and appears, from outward appearance, to have double in size since and its only been about 1 month. Today, we took her to the ER here in Lansing to have our suspicions confirmed that in the last 48 hours she has had a stroke. She is currently living with us in our already to small house. I am only posting this information to let everyone know that it is impacting my ability to get build time and will continue to do so until the situation is resolved.
Looking for something with a minimum rating of 400lbs, a large shoulder spread, and can accommodate a 6' 4" tall individual. What would you recommend?
What is your shoulder width?
Double layer of either the argon or hyper d would work.
Big guys rejoice!!
Good thoughts sent for your MIL.
Ambulo tua ambulo.
I look forward to working with Opie soon, I feel really bad that he is dealing with a loved one that has cancer. And being there for his wife at this time of need is the right thing to do.
Thoughts and prayers Opie...keep us posted.
Thanks,
JH

I haven't seen a post from opie recently. I hope things are going well for him and his family.
I wanted to offer an update on my Mackinac Bridge Hammock. I've been sleeping in it every night for the past 3+ months and it looks and feels like it's brand new. All of the stitching and seams are still rock solid and there has been no stretching of the Argon 1.6 fabric either.
FYI, I use my HG Phoenix underquilt with this hammock and it works perfectly.
I have a big guy on my Christmas list. No longer are bridges for skinny types
Peace Dutch
