Been dealing with Opie for a couple weeks now on building a custom bridge hammock for me. He's been nothing but helpful, and his terms are the best I've ever heard of! I have high hopes for this guy and his products (and hope to be a guinea pig for one of his first bug net versions!)
Good job on the bridge hammocks, Opie. Also a very interesting business model you've chosen to implement as well. I am sure it will be well received.
What length spreader bars are you using for your bridge hammocks? I know you said custom made, but you must have a general range that you are going to recommend to the new bridge hammock user.

I'll supply the spreaders for each individual hammock.
But to answer your question, I'll be using an 80% ratio for spreader length most of the time. I may bump up to 85% occasionally, but I've found that argon and HyperD work really well at the 80% mark.

Not speaking for Opie but the Mackinac Bridge connects the upper and lower peninsulas here in Michigan.
