One more thing on the Christmas list. You'll have other colors to pick from by then I hope.
The quoted line deserves yet another Dutch inspired T-shirt design. I'll get back to you on that.

I ordered one for my daughter, it was mailed Tuesday, received in Oregon on Thursday. My daughter is very happy with the looks, the rest must wait for the test Hang. It seems the Argon 1.6 feels softer than the 1.6 Argon I have in my stash for my bridge hammock.
Peace Dutch

this is the end of the dutch hammock that arrived today with my own loop
so curious if this would be OK to do or is there is a reason not to do it this way ?
putting the working end back through the center part ?
seems it would be OK still has a full wrap around the fabric ?
also did the normal full wrap around kinda thing and found the full wrap I got a bit more ridge feel at times ?
so prefer the method in the pic above unless there is some hammock reason this is not to be done
love the fabric very nice feeling and soft feel to it and not as synthetic feeling and stitches were straight from quick inspection
will have to get a night in it this week if I can but seems quite comfy from quick lay and had my family try it out all give it a thumbs up !
ordered some buckles and straps for 3 other hammocks for our camping rigs but put this on tonight ! WOW cool setup I am sold on straps and buckles now
verdict ! get one !!! for $30 even to have a nice lounge hammock or make it your main cant go wrong IMHO
OK edited to say I found out someone else has done this end (figured it had to be done before)
been researching end styles and might have come across that video by Xtrekker that slbear mentioned below me ?
whats funny is I was going to do my ridge-line the same way also ! GREAT MINDS

I saw this on YouTube video where the suspension came down through the gathered end and the ridgeline came up through the same. Plastic tie wrap like this photo from ckmaui. If anyone remembers the video and can provide a link I would be grateful. I was planning to try this on my Dutch hammock when it arrives (tomorrow!), although as Dutch said, it is easier to switch out suspensions using the channel.
I just got my Argon hammock last night. I quickly larksheaded some suspension on it and slept in it last night. It was very, very nice. It does have just the right amount of stretch for my 230lbs, and I was able to sleep flat. This is a huge improvement over the ENO I was using before, which developed "bucket seating".
Thanks Dutch!
Very nice Dutch! Argon hammock life.
