For those that have hung in Valens, is here a good area to camp. It looks like the Pines area is the best, but looking for some advise. I have a Saturday night free and was thinking of going to Valens for a hang night. Anyone interested in joining? That is Sept 13 evening. SOrry for last minute but that is how my life is!

Just started hanging in 2012
The best hammock site at Valens is site 134. Which is near the hilltop rest room. That site also happens to be in the area that is open for winter camping as well.
