Aragorn: Gentlemen, we do not stop 'til nightfall.
Pippin: What about breakfast?
Aragorn: You've already had it.
Pippin: We've had one, yes. What about second breakfast?
A solid big nail clipper with a nail catching compartment. I'm still baffled by how hikers can use a scissor...
I like packing a set of Crocs for around camp after hiking in my boots all day. I almost consider them essential anymore. A small flask tends to find its way into the pack from time to time.
After my last multi day hike. I decided a foam roller would be packed on the outside of my pack from now on. It is bulk but fairly light and does wonder for my back after hiking with a load

I like bringing a fishing pole
Lately, I choose one or two luxury items:
- Collapsible fishing pole
- 1L platypus filled with wine
- Helinox Ground Chair - even though it weight 22.5oz, this has pretty much been coming with me on every trip. Not really a luxury anymore. It's just so nice to sit and recline a little by the fire at night.
- UCO micro candle lantern
- 9oz Silky folding saw instead of 6.6oz Bacho, if any at all
A percolator and a stash of real coffee. I needs it!
A deck of cards (or other light game)
A showerbag. I just love that shower in the sun by the lakeside.
And then there's some stuff Im not sure fall under luxury.
A book (must when hiking alone) + lucy lantern
Dutch bling (doesn't really weigh anything but it makes everything easier)
A stool, it just allows ye to do everything better.
My 3 pound pack. The suspension fits like a glove. No weightloss is gonna offset that.
A good camera. I like making awesome fotos.
Now that is really something. I just want to know how they got a female to sit for a picture that was going to be posted on their website. My guess is daughter/sister, girlfriend (if this is the case, someone needs to put a ring on that). Other than my first sentence, everything else is strictly tongue in cheek.
