I can tell ya that cleanup of the bathroom was GREATLY appreciated. Nasty stuff. Bleck. I'll never forget it either.

Got the pole mod and sudo-pod done. I'm gonna be too toasty, but it'll be a good test.

I'd forgotten about that tent place in the 'Couve, Rip. I'd heard about them from the fellers at REI. I need to check them out one'a these days. Cool!

Gonna try to pull off some doors. May not make it in time. We'll see (crossing fingers).

Well folks.. we have to rename the hang.. Checked the forecast.. should be nice Saturday, but we will have to see. May be the Wet Yeti after all... but we are Northwest hangers..we can handle a little rain.
Took the Troop up this weekend. Rained so hard we actually had to bail out.. to many we sleeping bags... the down fall of ground dwelling.
Great lessons learned, but sucked that we had to bail on an otherwise great weekend. Perfect shakedown of my winter package for the hang though.

It was extremely wet though 5 hammocks all high and dry.. ground dwellers.. wet.
    Hammocks won!
Can't wait to see you all up there! Rain or Shine!

The snow was basically all gone (from what I heard and saw on the cams) this afternoon but it's been snowing since 5 or 6 and is supposed to continue through tomorrow. Light rain for friday then 50's for Sat/Sun. May very well be dry and clear which in the absence of snow I'll take over rain any day

We had about 1 ft to 2 feet in places.. I took my pulk and it worked fine. No need for snow anchors though. Unless we get some snow this week.
I used my regular MSR groundhog stakes.
Had the snow shoes in the truck too... did not need them. Yak tracks would have been useful in places. More ice than snow.
    Should be an interesting hang.
I am bringing my pulk to haul in all the extras.. Dutch oven, fire wood etc.
    Friday is coming soon!
