That's great! I made a quickie hammock for my 7yr old son out of a curtain. He sleeps in that instead of his bed every night... in fact, he's asleep in it now, with my jarbidge under it.

You're quite welcome! I will advise a bit of caution the first time he uses it. We generally give every hammock we make a test run. If we messed up somewhere, I'd rather one of us lands on our butts. But, it simply wasn't possible with such a small hammock. I'm 6' 3", that would've been quite a sight...
We considered recruiting a neighborhood 5-year-old, but decided walking around saying "hey, wanna come try out my hammock?" to small children might land us in jail for the night.
He hangs full time in his bedroom, so we have a safe place to try it out.
