===> Looks like you had a fun hang! Wish I could have made it! I am driving out to upstate NY today to hang for a week at the Mills-Norrie State Park just outside Hyde Park, right on the Hudson River. Taking a week-long intensive class in Healthy Cooking Techniques at the Culinary Institute of America. The campground is only 5 miles away, and only $15/night versus $180-$250/night for local hotels or B-n-Bs! Plus I get to hang for a week in a beautiful area!

Hope to see you guys at the next coupla hangs!

Always good to see everyone. I brought my nephew who spent the night in my spare Yukon and improvised tarp, with no bug net.

I also brought my kayak which is the only picture I got worth sharing:

What a great weekend! It was very relaxing just hanging around telling stories and goofin off. It was a small group this hang but a good group of people (and georgie!). Had some great food as always. (smoked pulled pork, delicious sausages, and more). Big thanks to hammockpete and capricorn for getting this together and letting 2 of us crash on your site last minute! It was great to see everyone and hope to hang with you all again soon.

I didn't get many pics this time but here's what i got.

Packed and ready to roll out.

Yes, there was definitely a lot of relaxing! Georgie (our dog) got a lot more attention than usual so was quite tuckered out.

You're very welcome, glad you could make it! And thanks to everyone for being so nice to Georgie. Great to see/meet you all and while I won't be making it to the fall or winter hangs, hope to see you next spring or summer! (Peter's still unsure which one's he'll be making.)

Had a great time hanging and chewing the fat so to speak. Great group of people as always. Saw some cool new stuff (Thank Atrain for showing your hammock convertible chair/pack cover/rain kilt/water basin/etc...).

Cool to meet some new people and see a Smokey Mountain Weber in action (tons more fun then just sitting there and lollie gagging, though did lots and lots of that).

I think next year i will try very early in the season to reserve the group site G1 (I think). It will only cost around $60 and can hold 25 + people (maybe not hangers, but I will try to go up and figure that out prior to scheduling the event). I think that will be easier and less stressful it the long run. Plus the chanting will come from the hanger's site then LOL...

What kelty tarp is that? I can only find square ones. I like the full shelter
    I'd rather be hanging.
