What does "flex body" mean?

We're working on some new body designs where we will be able to offset the double layers to create wider hammocks with the newer fabrics like Argon & HyperD. This hammock is 72" wide with a double layer portion through the center where more support is needed and a single layer on the edges of the hammock.
