    2-hammock Mini Geodome

Some of you have seen my other 2 Geodome posts(https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...Made-a-Geodome! and https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...Music-Festival). Last week, I decided to try a new design that would be a bit easier to transport around and setup.

    Here it is: http://imgur.com/a/EBRxz

Not too bad of a project, I made it out of 13 3/4" conduit poles. Cut them to 5' each, crushed the ends at 1.5", drilled a 25/64" hole 3/4" of the way from each end. Used 11 3/8" carriage bolts, washers, nuts to bolt it together. It holds 2 hammocks, and is light enough to pick up and move around by yourself. I really wanna get one of these to a beach sometime soon.

Anyway, I've started a business selling these things - feel free to check out my webpage: http://www.edgedomes.com

and like me on facebook :) https://www.facebook.com/EdgeDomes

If any of you on the forums here would like to order one I'll cut you a deal, just PM me on here.

WOW that 2 people dome is really cool! Have you considered having tarps available for the domes?
If I had a yard with no trees, I think this is a great option!!
    I'd rather be hanging.

That's pretty cool. A DIY cover for one of those would be a good project.

I do like this. My question is what is the horizontal distance from one hanging point to the other?
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.

8 ft. I wonder if I can find 12' conduit somewhere so I could cut it into 6' pieces and make the connection points slightly farther apart...

That's really cool! Looks great for lounging, but 8' seems a little short to hang a hammock I'd want to spend all night in. My living room stand felt a little cramped at 9' so I extended it to 10'.

Another epic build, I love the geo's you build.

I want one covered in clear film so I can hang in a green house and talk to the strawberries.
