Mod on an Eno DN

This isn't really a complete DIY but I decided to slim down the Eno-dn I bought several years ago. I never liked the extra fabric turning me into a burito....I know some do.... I cut the extra pieces of fabric ( 16" ) off the sides. I hung it from the pilings next to my boat, no ridgeline. It was pretty nice! I'll try again between trees and ad a rl. It's shorter then my diy camo hammy, by how much....won't know until I measure.

I did the same a few years ago and have not regretted it. It's now the perfect width for me. I'd also consider swapping out the stock ropes and biner for something lighter and less bulky.

Hey Bubba...yeah, I'm gonna replace the stock rope and go with something lighter....may even try whipping the ends.....

I grew up in Scarborough. Currently live in London, ON. Boy has the Toronto area changed. You wouldn't recognize much if you wen tback to visit. the school that I went to from Grade 3 to 13 was right downtown and when I see that area now I'm just amazed at the changes.

Slept out last night with the modified eno hung diag. across pilings of the dock where my boat is tied up. Used a small cc pad under my but and my pltq...no ridge line....very comfy. Couldn't hang my DIY hammy due to just couldn't...nice breeze, no bugs, no tarp, lottsa stars...happy
