God blesses me with every breath.

The only shot I did not see was the morning dew shot of the writing spider. That web describes this trip to a “T”. Where does the web begin? Does it start from the center and radiate outward? Does it start from the perimeter and spiral to the center? Most would think the spider was the origin. Not me. God created that spider. His breath created the instinct to weave the life giving web. That web is the symbol of this trip. All members came from different walks of life, from different parts of the country all with one goal; to experience God’s blessings with likeminded folks. All represented threads and supported each other.

All I can add is “A+”

Some people can paint the Sistine chapel, some people can finger-paint, and some people just eat the Crayons....

Video is blocked here at work but that was a great trip. How about TwoTrees timing that weather pattern for us! Sounds like Sunday night would have been rough if it was anything like a few miles east of the river. He even told all the bugs and flying insects to stay away. I have never been on a summer trip with the lack of bugs that we had.

Thanks to everyone who made this trip memorable.

What a great trip. The weather Gods were looking over us this weekend with moderate temps and calm winds. Very few bugs for whatever reason, I choose not to look the gift horse.....

Much appreciation to twotrees, and his Father, for co-coordinating this trip and the use of the barn property as a gathering/sleeping place for the first evening. His knowledge of the river and willingness to spearhead the event made for an enjoyable trip with friends and loved ones.

Much thanks to MM and Riven for the most delicious eats, L.D.Cakes for tips in paddle technique and corn bread, Mike for permitting the use of new boat and addition of first scratch marks, and to all who went for a most pleasant and scenic trip with a great bunch of folk. Special thanks to MM for vigilantly standing guard, awake in the wee hours, to protect us from snoring creatures of the night.

Once again, my Insulhammock performed well, slept silently like a bug in a rug. The bug net Riven had supplied performed well although as we found out, we wouldn't have needed. Tarp kept me dry for the brief shower, no surprise there, it has kept me dry through much worse!

Final thanks to MM for the great vids on the trip, great shot of one of the many Eagles seen.
