Kansas City Area
Hey guys,
Haven't seen much action from the Kansas City area since I've been back. I'm just putting this out there that I'm bored beyond reason and need some time out of the house for a hiking and camping adventure. Honestly not worried about distance. Just want to do something fun. I usually go hiking and camping for three days at a time. I'll just go ahead and put my schedule out there:

Hey man. Not been much going on in the KC area lately...I've kind of taken a short break from organizing hangs in our area for a bit. With that said...I'm gonna be out at Woodridge on the weekend of Aug 15th-17th. I posted a thread. Not an 'organized hang' per se...but if folks show up, that's cool.
Yeah I figured I would put something out there since it's been pretty quiet around here. I might look into it and join you guys. Looks like a few have already said they're going along. Like I said I don't have much going on. Is Woodridge a hiking trail or something?
It's a primitive camping area, with vault latrines and a well at the trailhead. It also has a 4.5 mile loop to hike/camp on. Here's a link:

Nice! I'm sure it will be pretty relaxing with the lake nearby as well. I'll be up for it as long as you guys are out there.
