The shipping was surprisingly fast, I ordered one Thursday afternoon and it arrived at my door Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately I left my house Saturday morning for an overnight hang in the Catskills. I'm pretty antsy myself to try it out for the first time...

    roll the stakes
The stakes that come with the tarp are useless. You will need to upgrade to some better grade aluminum or Ti stakes. You will also want to upgrade the line that comes with it to something like Lash it /Zing It or Braided Mason Line.

I used mine this past weekend for an overnight hang. It was raining/drizzling on and off all night, nothing too heavy but I could hear the drops hitting the tarp. It seemed to cover my yukon outfitters bug net hammock just fine and even had a enough room I could put some of my motorcycle gear under it. It is true that I can't "stuff" it back into it's own stuff sack. I had to fold it to get it back into the sack. I can't complain much considering I got it through the woot deal for 20 bucks. Having a whole system for under 100 bucks is pretty nice (yukon hammock ($30), rainfly ($20), atlas straps (ebay $20))

I purchased 3 of the tarps mostly for scouts that may not have a decent tarp and can't afford one. I received mine today and Gunner is correct, it is nearly impossible to get the tarp back into the stuff sack that comes with it.

Does that mean you were able to get yours back in ?

So far only the folks that say they have folded the tarp have reported beening able to get theirs back in but I belong to the cult of camping gear stuffers who believe one should stuff tarps, hammocks, tents, ect info a stuff sack so the item does not develop creases from being folded same way each time it is placed in stuff sack.

Hope your scouts get plenty of use out of them.

I was able to stuff the tarp in to the included stuff sack. However the stakes and guylines did not make it in. I have since delegated that sack as a stake sack and put the tarp in a bigger one.

Got mine last night. Scary fast shipping. Servicable tarp for the price, but its definitely a $20.00 tarp. That being said, its the one my Granddaughter will be using.
