Simply Light Designs Trail Lair Review

Just received a TL 1.1 double-layer, and slept one night on it. My experience so far:

Communication: All my 4-5 emails answered the same day.
Delivery: Ordered in the afternoon, hammock shipped next morning.
Quality: Understated solid craftsmanship and materials.
    Price: Very fair pricing.
Comfort: Most comfortable camping hammock I have used.

If you're looking for a hammock with an integrated bugnet, and don't want to break the bank, the Trail Lair is a good option.

Great vendor to work with, Jared does custom work in a hurry, quality and customer service are his specialties.

Ok, here are a couple of my new 11.5' SLD single layer 1.6 Argon green. I had Dutch send 4 linear yards to Jared and about 72 hours later the completed hammock was at my doorstep.

I have three SLD hammocks. They are all awesome.
I am an internet gear addict and I would say that Jared has unquestionably the best customer service and attention to detail of any vendor in any market that I have ever dealt with.

I made a 117" Dynaglide Ridgeline on that one BTW. It is the first GE hammock that I have ever been able to get away without a pillow under my knees. I am very sensitive to calf ridge. I think it's the combination of the longer hammock and the glorious Argon on this hammock. I will be ordering another with the same dimensions once Dutch comes out with the Woodland Camo in 1.6 Argon.
    I'm 6'3" 225 for those wondering about the comfort/size

Nice setup. I got my 10' Trail Lair last month in 1.6 oz grey. I absolutely love it. Jareds customer service and communication is the best. Eyeing some new stuff from his site now.
