Honestly, I'd love to see the Handy Hammock set up, myself...

To think this all started years ago when a couple of us decided to meet for the first time at Stubblefield Lake Rec Area in New Waverly. We quickly outgrew that place only to find a new "home" at FLSP where people come from all over this great nation for the food, the fun, and great fellowship!
I remember my wife saying to me before I left for the first trip to Stubblefield Lake...
"You're going WHERE, to meet STRANGERS, in the WOODS, to hang in a WHAT?!?"
We come from all walks of life, with different experiences, different personalities, different interests, and I always come away learning something new. I consider this event my "extended family" reunion and look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones each year.

Okay. I can bring the Handy Hammock stand. I've modified mine a little to drop weight but that should be fine. I'm afraid the YATS will be too big to bring on the plane

Alan, I know what you mean. My first group hang was the butt bake, and hearing my mother tell my wife "you're letting him go too the woods with strangers he met on the internet". All I could do was remind her that they met me on the internet well.

Yeah, Caveman and I got pulled over by Oklahoma highway patrol on the way to a hang in Arkansas one time, and I had met him at a previous hang once before we took off. When questioned, I only knew his first name, that he went by Caveman, and that we were going to Arkansas to meet some other men in the woods. Made for a little side eyed glances from the patrolman.
LOL! That would suck...
