I believe that I will be alone or have only one other person on my site, anyone who doesn't mind a cranky old man and a couple of dogs is welcome.

Only a little over a month left! SO many people this time!! We had a lot last year...even with the ones that weren't able to make it. This is awesome :0 I've been counting down the days. Itching to get outdoors. I am 90% sure that everyone m group is attending. I will try to get a better count. If we have any room, I do not think we would mind sharing any trees we can spare.

Come to the Dark Side...We have cookies.
I have been off the forums for a few months (lots of RL issues going on, *sigh*) but I'm super excited about the hang. Polkster and his wife will be sharing my site; any other available trees are free for the takin', too.
there's only two at my site and anyone else is welcome.
Remember...no matter where you go...there you are.

I cannot wait for this hang!!!
From my understanding of the state park website. The only two things allowed are containerized fuel stoves and stand up charcoal grills. If you would like to keep a eye on the burn ban here is the county website http://www.co.freestone.tx.us/
Even though the Texas A&M Forrest Service seems to think that there is no burn ban as of today (http://tfsfrp.tamu.edu/wildfires/DecBan.png) I called the county judge's office in Freestone (just in case maybe they hadn't updated their website) and the nice lady on the phone told me that they are indeed still under a burn ban.
So, let's all do a rain dance or something in hopes that it gets lifted before the hang in November!
28 days and counting down!
