    New Fabrics - Argon 1.6

Last week we had the opportunity to use Dutchware's Argon 1.6 on a hammock. We found that it handles well and looks pretty sharp too.

We are pleased to offer the Argon 1.6 Brown or Black as a fabric option on any Dream Hammock. These fabrics will appear on our fabric list soon, but we will order them as needed from Dutch, so just specify the Argon 1.6 fabric and you're all set.

Dutchware lists it as up to 275lbs. I don't have enough time with it to say otherwise.

    From http://dutchwaregear.com/argon-1.6.html
"It is made form incredably strong nylon that has just enough give while the not having too much stretch to make this the perfect fabric for a person under 275. It comes in the same rich brown color that is found in all the ARGON product line and Black. The 1.6 weight is light enough to shed ounces and strong enough you will hang in confidence."

Probably 59ish finished hammock width, but I didn't measure this one. Can't remember if the Argon's width was 60" useable or a little more than that.

Too bad about the width, as I am 6'2", and prefer a greater width.

I am guessing the "comfort rating" is still 225lbs ?

On second thought. We've decided not to offer the Argon 1.6 on our website as a regular in-stock fabric.
If we get requests for this fabric, we can still order it as needed for individual projects.
    Thanks

Well I can say that when I have the funds my "special" order will be placed, as of my last 4 I got from you your the only one I will purchase a hammock from, pretty much same as the other person with my quilts!

Thanks Yoda. Let me know when you're ready and I'm sure we can put together something real nice.
