Amsteel Whoopies to Amsteel Cont. Loop Suspension

Haha. I guess you can't color the title of your thread.

Just recently here on the forums, I read that it is not good practice to use an Amsteel Continuous Loop to Whoopie connection. Apparently rope to rope connections cause the fibers to wear faster. Is this true?

"As you can see the continuous loop is fed through the channel end, then larksheaded to itself. Then the whoopie sling larksheads to the CL. You can see the connection I am talking about higher up the suspension in the picture I included. I hope that made sense."

Rope to rope connections cause a very small radius on both ropes. The smaller the radius, the more the rope is weakened (like a knot). Both ropes compress under load, therefore the radius is tiny. Not good!
