Vendors adding information labels to products ??

I find my self having to write on my gear ( TQs, UQs) what the temp ratings ect is. Depending on the color of the fabric I usually use a black or silver sharpie marker.

While I know the cottage vendors could not have a product info tag for every possible option ( overfill, fabric color ect ), it seems to me that they could at least add a tag that states something like 20 degree, XLong TQ or something similar. For hammock makers like Warbonnet it could say 1.1 double BB or 1.7 Single XLC. This would also make it easier to ID the product when someone tries to sell it.

Hi Gunner, We will be adding temp rating tags, on the back side of the Made in USA label in the coming weeks. We also identify whether quilt is HyperDRY700 or HyperDRY850. On the back of the HyperDRY label is fabric and down content information. Adding the temps should be the finishing touch on labeling. Labels aren't cheap so at some point you have to draw the line on them. There is not much margin on our products once you figure all the true costs to running a business and dropping $1000+ every 6 months on labels cuts into it.

I would love for the quilts to be labeled with their temp rating. I have several quilts and sometimes can't remember what the temp rating is on them especially since I have a 20* and a 0* from the same maker and in the same colors. I will tag mine one of these days.

HG puts temp ratings on their quilts now.

I have matching storage bags for my quilts, and a dedicated hook in the gear room for each temp rating.
Its a proven fact that 78.4% of all statstics are made up on the spot.

If you ask nice maybe the vendor can pre-Sharpie your stuff with extra low density ink instead of affixing a label.

Looks like UGQs and HG have anticipated my ideas. It will help cut down on the confusion of id'ing which model of quilt one has.

HG did autograph a cuben tarp I had made a couple of years ago. Asked if they would have anyone who worked on it to autograph it for me. Didn't really think they would but I am glad they did.

My apologies, off topic - I thought HG didn't sew their cf tarps?

On mine it is just on the outer seam, not the ridgeline. If I had the $$ I would get another one for the wife.
