Evil Conversion plans...

I'm going camping with a bunch of tenters this weekend. I am, of course, hanging. I expect a lot of ppl will be joining this forum next week….. My plan to convert the ground-dwellers commences!!!!!! Bwahahahahahaha…..cough……ha…..

Last night at a pizza joint I expounded (and showed pics) of my hammock setup to a friend who tents it. He and his wife are very intrigued by hammocks. I might end up making them each a tablecloth hammock….

We might even start a group of hangers here…. I am, of course, completely convinced that once you get in a hammock, you will never go back to lying on the ground and am forging ahead in this endeavor. I have even convinced my work (who house me while I am doing several-days-in-a-row shifts) to let me hang and of course, I show off my hammock setup to anyone who is even the tinniest, teeny bit curious.

I'm planning on doing the same thing this weekend.

I was expounding the virtues of my hammock last weekend during lunch break on a day canoe trip. Most of the same bunch are going to be tenting it this weekend while I sleep in total comfort a foot above the uneven rocky ground....hehe!!

Age range is old enough that they all will be groaning about back pain come morning whilst I sing and dance...

I sometimes forget that people still tent. I prefer to see it as you are batman/superman/green lantern etc attempting to DEFEAT the evil tent.

Just tell them that you have a surprise for them in your hammock. As they bend over to look for it, give them a shove from behind. Once they are in the hammock, it's all over.
