    SC>SC Fall Sprawl 2014, 4th Annual!!!! BIGGER & BETTER!

Hey everyone!!! I am excited to officially announce the 4th Annual South Carolina Fall Sprawl 2014, Sept 25-28!!!

As President of the Palmetto State Hangers and the coordinator of one of the biggest, if not THE biggest Hammock Camping event in South Carolina I want to welcome everyone to this great hammock event!!! This year its going to even bigger and better, since I have reserved the ENTIRE PRIMITIVE AREA!!!

All the extra space is going to allow us to have people that dont have hammocks yet (tenters...*shudder* :P ) and have room in case any vendors would like to come and show off gear!

Every year this event has grown by leaps and bounds, with guests from as far away as Michigan and Florida. Case in point, last year, the group raised $1000 for the park and we almost ran out of room at the park we were at!

Some of the highlights of the hang:

    Miles of walking/biking trails!
Right on Lake Santee and next to a boat ramp, so come paddle!
On site Restrooms, picnic tables and water on tap!
Minutes from local food and hotels (if you need that kinda thing...)
In-park General Store, playgrounds, boat tours and cabins!
Raffles* featuring gear from our Cottage Industries, and some big ones too!
    Gear Demos & how-to's
    Gear Garage Sale
The chance to pick others brains about setups!!!

    And now, for the specifics:

    *Sept 25-28
*Santee State Park Primitive Area (the whole thing!)
    *Rain or Shine!!!
*Free to members and military, a $5 donation to the site funds for everyone else would be much appreciated but is not required (all donations will be taken at the event)!!!
*Gear raffle ($5/ticket with multi-ticket specials at the event) with proceeds going to the park as a donation from the Palmetto State Hangers!

    Sign Up Sheet:

(PLEASE list your guests below your name with a * before the name)

Plans this year include a Pot Luck (need a volunteer to head this up!) and a designated time/place for a Gear Garage Sale for both vendors and attendees (so people arent tied to a "sale" table all weekend, we can have a specific time for people to scoop up new toys!)

PSH MEMBERS: This will be when dues are, well, due.

    MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW!!!

I am so looking forward to this, and the Spring Swing isn't even here yet! Definitely going to be more active in this one.

Well of course me and the White Devil are in.
Leave me alone, I'm only talking to my dog today.

I may be outnumbered, but never outmanned.

Yeah this is like the super bowl of hangs. Nicely done last year. Cant wait.
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.
